March with Me!

I haven't been writing much recently, it's not for a lack of inspiration. Maybe even to much inspiring for me to really put into words my transformation. One thing that has caught my passion is sustainable organic living. It really saddens me that not only can we not trust out government to do their jobs in monitoring our food, but at the end of the day it's not about the American people, it's about lobbying.

Have any of you every had that friend, that obsesses over a problem and no matter what advice you give them, they can't seem to get it (I have been that person). You both see the solution plain as day, yet they still don't help themselves. You just want to shake them and say "why are you doing this to yourself?"...............That's how I feel about this issue.

Why is it, when you post a funny picture( maybe even somewhat offensive and inappropriate) on Facebook you can get a hundred likes, but the second you post something of real substance and concern no one seems to see it?

Why are we afraid to be extreme in our views when it comes to what we put in our body?

"We label our mattresses better than we label the food that goes into our body"

I think I'm going to keep this short and simple from here.... Join me!!!
March Against Monsanto

We all have a voice.... Do you want things to change with our food? Do you mind feeding pesticides that farmers need to wear a mask to handle? I never signed on to be a test group and I'm sure neither did you.

I'm still coming up with sign ideas... does anyone have a suggestion?

Metamorphosis

Do you ever just need some time off, to take a break from all the crazy media chaos in your life? Sometimes I just want to crawl up in a quiet corner, to be left alone and see where my mind takes me. Not that I'm not feeling so inspired lately, maybe too inspired. I'm going through a little bit of a metamorphosis right now.

I remember reading a book in school once, called The Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka. My life is not dreary like the book, just sort of in the clouds recently. Uncertainty and confusion would be the resemblance. I'm feeling very blessed and a bit overwhelmed with all the daily obligations. I miss my blog though and will return soon....

Thanks!
